Animal Empathy
Can help a party avoid being attacked by many animals. PCs should stay close to the person with the animal empathy skill when in the wild - if the barbarian runs off a long way in front, animals may still attack her even if a druid or ranger is in the party.

Some animals are more likely to attack than others.

The skill can also be used to dominate animals in the normal way.

Appraise
Persuade and appraise are both used to affect how friendly a merchant is towards a PC. The highest skill is used - there is no point puttng points into appraise if you already have the persuade skill.

Bluff
Not currently used.

Craft Armour
Not used. Battledale's crafting system does not use this skill.

Craft Trap
The ingredients used to make traps are different to the ones listed in the manual. Use your craft skills to see what you need. Other than that, the skill is used in the same way as normal.

Craft Weapon
Not used. Battledale's crafting system does not use this skill.

Intimidate
Not currently used on this server.

Perform
Increases the strength of a bard song or curse song in the normal way, but has a stronger effect on this server than in standard NWN.

Persuade
Persuade and appraise are both used to affect how friendly a merchant is towards a PC. The highest skill is used - there is no point puttng points into appraise if you already have the persuade skill.

The higher the skill, the more the merchant will pay for goods and the less they will charge. The maximum benefit you can gain is from a skill of 20.

Search
Used for spotting hidden objects (doors or hidden items) as well as traps.
Also affects the amount of treasure you will find in containers.

Spellcraft
Overcomes the effects of wild magic areas, allowing casters to cast spells normally.

Spot
Used for spotting hidden creatures. Many creatures on the server will sneak, so this is a useful skill.
