Bards
Bard song has been modified on this server. Bards are good people to have around.
They can pick from a number of different songs to sing which will have different effects, if they have learned them. Holding an instrument will improve their performance.
You will need to stay near to the performing bard to retain the bonuses of their song.

Bards also get a songbird familiar - this is just for roleplaying and the bird cannot fight for you. If your songbird dies, you will not get a new one until you gain a level. There is no need to take it anywhere dangerous. Note that you can give it a name (summon it and talk to it to give it a name).

In some areas, a bard can use their bardic lore skill to gather information. Use call up your craft skills menu and select bardic lore.

Clerics

Druids
Some spells have been changed on this server. See the spell list for details.

Druids who wear metal armour will find it difficult to cast spells. If the arcane spell failure chance on your armour is more than 20, the spell may fail. Of course, druids are divine spell casters and not arcane. However the arcane spell failure check is used by the server to determine what sort of armour you are wearing.

Many animals are less likely to attack a party if it includes a druid, ranger or scout.

Paladin
Paladins gain a holy symbol, which they can use once per day (12 minutes). Its effects are powerful and last for 10 rounds plus one round for every point of charisma bonus they have.

The effects of the holy symbol become stronger as the paladin gains levels AND as they gain charisma points.

Creatures in the symbol's area of effect become weaker if they are evil, and stronger if they are good. if you are fighting something which is not evil, it won't help much. If you are fighting alongside fellow party members who ARE evil, it will have a negative effect on them.

Rangers
Rangers can use their tracking skill by calling up their craft skills menu and selecting the ranger tracking option. Some creatures are more difficult to track than others. A ranger's tracking ability improves as they gain levels. Sometimes a ranger might also find tracks in the wild.

Many animals are less likely to attack a party if it includes a druid, ranger or scout.

Rogues
There are no changes for rogues, but be aware that parties need someone able to detect and disarm traps and open locks in order to get the best loot out of dungeons.

Sorcerers

Wizards
Some spells have changed on this server. See the spell list for details.

Wizards can brew potions up to level nine. They can also, if they ever find the materials and learn how to do it, build golems. And they are the only class that can make bone wands (but they can then sell the wand to another PC to enchant it).

The bad news is that there are very few scrolls for sale - you'll need to go out and find them, or buy them from other players.

No changes have been made to the classes not listed here.
